Abstract

This thesis describes an algorithm called the Just- In-Time Real Time Replication (JITRTR) Algorithm. The JITRTR algorithm generates replication transactions that copy required data in a distributed real-time object-oriented database where and when it is needed. The algorithm guarantees that all requests for data will read temporally valid local copies of the data
